Looks like finally this year (knock on wood) I am going to head to the Reuion at Bowling Green KY in June. Where is a convenient place to stay? My wife will be with me so it must be descent. I don't walk the best and it looks like they rent golf carts. Good idea? Any other advice highly appreciated. Really excited about going. I am building a blown 392 Hemi and will be looking for ideas what to put it in. Thanks

I would bet that the Hotels are mostly booked up by now.

I checked and there are rooms within a 10 mile radius.

Bowling Green is only an hour from Nashville and is home to Western KY University so there should be plenty of places to stay. You probably can't get a room close to the entrance but there will be rooms with in a short drive. I don't remember seeing golf carts for rent (nor was I getting ran over) but they may have them. I have only been once and it was a great experience, I plan to go again this year.

  5. We stayed at one across from the Corvette museum. Quality Inn-Comfort Inn something like that. Short 5 minute drive to the track. Check the track to see if they have handicap parking, if not get there early. The grass lot fills pretty quick and it could be a long walk to the stands. The built up part of Bowling Green has plenty of nice Hotels and restaurants. Make sure you go to the welcome party at the Host Hotel the night before the racing. Its a show before the show. The camp ground section is also a good time after hours.

The only piece of advice is get a room NOW! You can always cancel if something were to happen.

I have never been to the HAMB drags as I have nothing running that will get me into that event. From what I have seen here on the HAMB it's an outstanding event also! I don't think you will be disappointed at all! Joe
