Event Coverage Live from Pomona....GNRS 2016

Not a Delehay. It's a hand built body by Marcel's on an Art Morrison chassis. It's a Rick Dore car built for James Hetfield. They are calling it a '34 Packard.

 

Oops! Man, it looks like they borrowed a few styling queues from the Delehay designers .. a great looking car!

Is there a site I can view all of the AMBR contenders? I didnt see anything on the actual GNRS web page.

 

Hot Rod magazine had a write up and photos on their site yesterday.

 

Ahh, a REAL Packard and what? a sectioned Kaiser? is that what it is?
That other 'Packard' is missing a few key elements - a Packard grill for instance - and has too many other elements to my taste. I'd consider it a Cabriolet and not elegable anyway. But thats just me.

 

That T center door is fantastic!

I would have thought that the AMBR cars would have been posted on the Hot Rod site. I only shoot mostly what I like and most of the AMBR cars have trendy, cliche styling cues. I did shoot a few of them, but i have been showing
