I am planning on shaving the trunk lid on my Victoria. What do you recommend for a solenoid to open it?

Here's a link to mine..if it doesn't come up, it's about 1/2 way down page 5 of my build thread. we also had a seperate thread on this a few months back.

I can add an update. It's been working just fine since installation. The only issue I've had is I installed the new trunk seal, and now sometimes the latch will release somtimes it won't. The new seal is just putting too much pressure on the latch for the solenoid to release it. It's getting better as the seal is settling in to shape. If I'm alone, I pull my mechanical cable to release it, if someone is available, I have them pull up on the trunk as I push the ****on. If it doesn't get around to releasing 100% of the time, I'll slot the mounting holes so I can move the latch up a little.

i used the latch ***embly from a dodge neon. The latch itself has fits right into the trunk hole just have to drill new mounting holes and then i welded the piece the latch connects to to the lower section. i used the cable type and mounted the open lever under the seat but i believe the have ellectric ***emblies as well
