28K for the Ford convertible above seems like a steal! And those block letter Sharp heads will haunt my dreams. They look a bit corroded, I wonder if they were run-able, and what the price was on those.

Joker, Thank you for the pics. Thats a swap meet that I've wanted to go to for a long time. I'll make it some day.

 

I was there with AV8ter. he showed what was in our rent a car trunk, but not what we had in our luggage, and the almost 200 lbs that we shipped home by FEDEX. the picture of the guy with his hand on the flathead intake was with us. It was a rare Nicson 2 carb intake for a flathead, yes, he bought it. it was a good trip.

 

Great pictures and thank you so much for taking the time and posting pictures of the swap. Being inthe Midwest stuck in middle of winter. Its posts like this make you all jazzed up for the car season .

This is a great shopping event. As Nick the Bandit noted, the three of us picked up a bunch of stuff here in Turlock. As an aside, this flea market was just one stop on our "Fifty Shades of Oxidation" tour (50 Shades of Rust and Grey already in print by someone) having stopped earlier in Rosemead at Early V8, The Famoso Drag Strip, Turners Auto Wrecking in Fresno and later at the GNRS and Peterson auto Museums. Many Thanks to our "Tour Guide" NTB for showing us around and keeping us moving along.

 

AVater - "Fifty Shades of Oxidation" - what an adventure - saw & did more in a short time than others have done in their whole life

 

I need a cigarette......that was great. I cant wait for swap meet season, im jonsin' !
