This is probably on of those topics covered a zillion times, that I never paid attention to because it didn't have anything to do with my build. I did go thru the FAQ stick, couldn't find anything. A '57 forum member is helping a friend install a 460 in a '56 fairlane g***er. They would like to use bolt on motor mounts to the original oem crossmember. Is there such an animal? and if so, who/where?
    Thanks

A friend used a modified Lincoln mounts. I thought Fox Mustang mounts would work since Fox SBF mounts work.

To specify, the Fox 429/460 mounts will work, not the 5.0 mounts

I p***ed a link to this thread to the '57forum member, but you may want to pm me your contact info. I'll p*** it on to them in a pm also.
Just to verify, yours are for a 460 in a '56 and are bolt on?

For my own curiosity, Jeff...the 400M articles you posted a link to...the 400m is same block as 460?

No it is 100% like the 429-460 It is similar to the Cleveland and can even use Cleveland heads. But it does according to the Hot Rod link share bell housings and transmissions with the 429-460.
