Question for you guys that know mid-30s Plymouth's.....I have 2 36 4 door parts cars. I just ran across a really nice 37 coupe body. How much of the 36 ch***is and interior interchanges with the 37? Is the frame at least common? I'm not worried about drivetrain - I have a spare early hemi that should work nicely. Thanks for the help, guys.
Only mechanical stuff , body was redesigned in 37 , nothing interchanges......get the coupe sell the 36 and locate a 37 parts car.....just sayin
Choptop 40 is right the 37 was redesigned to be bigger and more luxurious. I am currently building a 37 sedan check out the build thread. Hobo Jim
Thanks guys. That's the answer I expected to get, but it was worth asking. I have a good lead on a 38 4 door parts car and that might be just the ticket.
The 38 parts car will help with the 37 coupe. The 37-39 bodies were the same (body style to body style). Gene
incorrect about the 39 totally diff front end ( only 39 square heads lights rare) also the head lights on 38 were slightly diff and the front grill is wider/shorter on 38's then 37 all else pretty much the same but no crank out windshield on 38
