I love cars like this - simple, clean, and small improvements over the original design. Only 2 carbs on a Corvette 6? Thought they all had 3. Then again, all Chevy engines are "out of a Corvette" when the car is for sale. vic
Corvette 6.... sure it is. as stated side draft carbs and some other Corvette only bits. this is a great looking car either way.
That is not a Corvette intake. There's a reason Corvette sixes used side drafts but I won't explain it here because all it takes is a little common sense. So, again, the motor may be from a Corvette but the carb/intake setup isn't.
The modifications compliment the styling of that car to a "T". Ah, fiesta hubcaps. Looked great then; look great now. We had a few Chevy's like that cruising our streets back then. Can still remember the "Purr" coming from that split exhaust. Very well done. Hope the car is still around somewhere.
like these early 50's Chevies. Did a copy of my brothers high school car a few years back. They make nice cruiser customs....
Great looking mild customs the average working guy could afford. I'm one of those 'less is more' people also. Figuring out where to put the 'less' is the real challenge. These cars were made for this. The stance is so important, the rest just kinda' falls in place.
This 50 Bel Air belonged to my dad, he was not the builder,I've always wanted to find out who built it he bought it off a lot in Portland Oregon around 57-58, I am currently working on building my own version of it I post more on that later. Sent from my SM-G920V using H.A.M.B. mobile app
