History Beautiful Buick

Saw this Buick yesterday....I know the guy who owns it but he is very shy about his collection, so won't mention any names.
I believe it is a '57 Buick Station Wagon Hardtop.
And believe me when I say mint, I mean mint...inside outside and underneath..
Beautiful indeed..

 

I had a '57 Buick convert in '65...a gent pulled in next to me and parked an identical hardtop wagon to that, right next. He got out, laughed, and said, "We should stay awhile, and charge admission."
Wasn't 5 minutes, and we had half a dozen folks walking around the cars, most knew what they were, but a lady asked why there was no 'emblem' in my grille.
I said it made it look too much like the Batmobile...

 

I think those were called "Caballero"..........

Those are nice cars.
I have a -58 Century Caballero.
They were also made on the Special but those were just called estate wagon. Came in both hardtop and post.
All Century Caballero were hardtops.
