for those who asked for a pict some progress has got made on her...still got some turning & tuning to do...pipes are on the way...the tank was whipped up by the mysterious john stromberg...AKA luckys 7...who is "the man"...thanks again brotha...ill get some more shots when i get the pipes on...and hopefully soon be taking a wild trip.
you know i don't even really get into motorcycles...but that just looks cool and fun to ride!.... nice kart!
its coming toTexas for sure...hopefully she will be ready for the round up....ya see im not the luckiest son of a ***** around...=) but i am persistant.
Is there a link out there with more info on your bike? Im interested in more info on the engine, frame and gas tank. Jeeter
Nice work. It looks way better than the "before" pictures you posted on the Jockey Journal. If you bring it to the Roundup, watch out. I hear there's fellers who like to steal other people's rides and do smoky burnouts.
the engine is a 1967 Harley ironhead 900...the frame & tank are some old aftermarket **** from the late 60s early 70s i dont know who made the frame and if anyone recongnizes it ..id like to know also ...the bike was chopped in the early 70s...i had a pretty good foundation to start out..just had to bring it back to where i felt it "had" to be.still got a ways to go but ill get her there..thanks Jeb for noticing the lil' things...haha
that thing looks tough! me likey! but that front brake is just added weight, you should take it off... no, seriously.
God damn I love that thing more and more...every time I see it...the paint is awesome, the pipes rock.. and I like the z bars a bunch....good thing your a big SOB Dusty...you'll need arm strength to turn it at low speeds..with those narrow bars.... Damnit.. I miss my panhead... PC
fired her up this morning for the first time since ive had her... with Outlaws help....it was a sweet sound.wish it would stop raining....
I heard you went riding last night.. good to see you post this morning... How did the break in run go? PC
