Bottom line. Has anyone ever bought front Johnny Law Motors. The prices are really low and Im thinking the quality is gonna be the same. Just chime in a let me know you experience with this seeming too good to be true company.

yes they ****, they are part of the Hoffman group and they sell cheap offshore garbage. I found out the hard way. bought a dropped axle from them, it looked like a 2 year old went to town with a grinder on it. It was **** I wouldn't put it on any car a very porous looking casting, and it said it was forged. And don't even try to return anything. Stay away unless you like to get ****ed on your parts. not with your parts, we all like that......

Ok, close this thread, that all I needed. I figured it was a cl***ic case of "you get what you pay for". That's why I asked.

Very bad rep for this company. Still wonder why all the car mags still let them advertise in their mags. It's almost like the mags don't care if their customers get screwed by the Hoffman group.

It's not the magazine's role to cull or censor their advertiser's content. The mags sell space. It's a buyer's responsibility to make his/her own judgment. Where would such interference in a free market end?
Restaurants, clothing stores, politicians.......the list is endless. And whose opinion is acceptable to all?

Open link in post # 7 and scroll down to list of resellers of their products. Looks like you could be buying their stuff and not even know it.

I would stay away from anything sold by them that is safety related, I.E., ch***is parts, steering parts, brakes, etc. I bought some woven wire loom from them that was actually pretty good stuff. The power window kit they sell is the same as the one sold by a lot of sellers. I bought one of those before I knew of their reputation, but it turned out to be a decent product so far. Small dress up items will probably be as good as anybody's stuff that is China made like most of it is now.

Wouldn't trust my life with them on critical safety stuff though....

I have to go along with Bamamav. Don't buy anything from them that is safety related in any way shape or form but trinkets and items that aren't safety related may be ok.

Along with Johnny law motors Welder Joe on Ebay is another back door outlet for the Hoffman group. Lately I haven't seen the big Hoffman Group adds in the rod rags so we might see the end of them yet.

Bought a cheap cast aluminum finned panel off of Ebay, looked pretty good, but then started getting Johnny Law catalogs.......
I throw them all away immediately, afraid that one day I'll die, my kids might decide to actually finish some of my ****, and might screw up and order some of their junk... just not worth the risk to have those catalogs laying around.....
