    Wow, did this one hit home...Very cool car and times when a few guys could chip in with work skills and a few dollars and have tons of fun!

    Damn, I grew up in Racine, went to Great Lakes Drag way when I was a kid and actually remember that manufacturing plant. Freaking small world! Thanks for the post, brought back good and bad memories.

    are you sure the picture is from Racine Wisconsin? the reason i asked is the building in the background looks like it is built from a type of rock found in Pennslvannia. maybe that is why the search went cold? Racine Pennslvannia?

    That picture was taken in my town! I grew up in Racine, WI. Good thing I never ran into the WRB, looks like they were a force to be reckoned with. I can say that is likely Racine, WI...locals call West Racine "West Racine" and you know exactly where they are talking about.
