so, have you seen this project car in person? or, someone that you can rely on looked at it?

  4. If you pull the trigger - you are best to after it yourself with a trailer.

That is a relatively short regional haul.

Not much demand to haul into Oregon - even less to haul out of Montana.

31 coupe and a pile of stuff that s working guy could afford !?! But....it's 14 hours one way and my wife would notice me missing lol! I've been trying to find a decent body/project for a reasonable sum for a couple of years and it's not that easy up here or it's too much dough. The sellers ok Roth shipping drama but it's probably best to go get it or forget it. Just don't want a Fiberglass car and ever since I sold
My five window I've wanted it back. Want a gone to the coast on "job related business " lol!

Hard for me to find a decent body in my budget and I get easily excited and it's cheap compared to most and I get easily excited. I thought about trying to find someone to look at it but if they are in the know they will buy it and say sorry Charlie it's too tough you should pass. Anyone want to sell me s barn find 31 coupe for 4k?

if the deal is too good to be true you need to be cautious - this may be a perfectly solid deal. but, others have been burned recently by getting too excited about the deal. post pics when you get it home

See if you can locate Gary Johnson in Roseburg Good, honest guy, knows the area and probably the car,,, lotta hot rod activity there. Have him fill ya in.. or Google: Hot Rod club, Roseburg Oregon. Gary's family had an egg farm, for years, all the chicken coops (and there is a lot) are full of old cars. Gary's a native, might even contact Chamber of Commerce.
    Good Luck..

  11. Good advice there ...

Best to have a set of eyes on this before you pull the trigger ...
