I just purchased a t bucket project car needs a lot of work but should be fun and a different project. It's my first hot rod I've been mainly into the muscle cars. I have a 62 Chevy II nova that I am about finished with and wanted to start a new project.

The project I purchased is an older fibergl*** body came with a running 454bbc and a turbo 400 transmission. Has a ford 9inch rear end. Spun aluminum fuel tank. Juice disk brakes in the front and drums in the rear.
The parts I know I will need is brake lines need to be run and fuel lines as long as all electrical. Need steering column and steering box. Told its setup for a reversed corvair steering box. Also need to purchase a radiator. The floor has been started on the car needs to be completed over the transmission though.
Plans are first to get the steering column and box first so the car could be moved around. I will try to source out those parts first. And then the pedal ***embly. Wow.....much rougher shape than what I got into. It has been a blast! I bought mine in running condition and tore completely down and went through everything but the engine to date. That will come with more green backs. Light weight and more power than needed....what else could you ask for??
