    I am collecting pictures of broken connecting rods, maybe with pistons too, for an art project.

    No late-model stuff. No aluminum. Just good old-school rods, that have seen some rough treatment.

    I have mined the inter-webs, and now I am looking to see what you guys have in your collections.

    Had to post the block for the full affect. Old supercharged Hemi on hydrazine .

    Kinda looking for them out of the engine. Damage looks cool, though.

    Visit your local machine shop or engine builder and take your camera. Most of them keep a few of the really nasty ones to show to customers and will probably let you take a picture.

    I've torn down several motors that went into a lake when they were running or just shutoff that had rods that and it would be almost every rod.

    I believe so. Google was my friend Some heavy duty rods and bends along with a broken cap. A couple more
