I'm piecing together a Model A project with a 26-27 T coupe body. Will I just have to drill the body mounts in the frame? Also can I just use rubber mounts between the body and frame.
The few T on A ch***is I've been around (or paid attention to) have had frame welt and that's it. That's what I'm doing with my 26/27 roadster on A ch***is.
Is the frame too wide for the late T bodies? I know my A frame had to be narrowed to fit my '15 body.
lust finishing a 27 cpe on 1/2 model A frame and 1/2 2x4 tubeing [only had front 1/2 of A frame] i welded tabs to frame to match where the T body mounted to the T frame and used 1/4'' ruber pads at those points. 5 places on ea. side
I am building a 27 t coupe on a model a frame and just made some tabs off the floor structure and bolted it to the top of the frame in six spots and the very rear two on the side of the frame! Easy!
