Nice find. Makes me wonder if the person forgot where the parked it? Then makes me wonder how do you suppose they yanked the motor out. My cherry picker barley rolls over on concrete ..... :)

  2. Ladies please! You'll scare young Logan away. You don't want him to think you were raised in a hen house do you?

You should be polite and thankful when a nice young man comes around especially when he's so thoughtful to bring you a treat like this. There are many other cat houses, ahem, I mean internet message boards that he could spend his time visiting.

    Honestly girls.

You know, I am a mechanic who now works in an office. The guys in my office all gossip and tell on each other and can't leave well enough alone. I call them "girlies".
Some of the guys on this board act like girls too! WHO THE **** CARES IF HE CONFORMS TO YOUR PANSY HALF ***ED STANDARDS! Like I said earlier, he found something most of us would love to find and felt it was right to share it with us. I am happy for that. IF you don't like him or his post DON'T READ IT! I don't read every post! I don't have the time for one. I have a life outside of the H.A.M.B.!
In our world of traditional/custom/rat culture, conformity is NOT the norm. Why then the tyrannical outbursts on posting your way! Just deal with it! **** it up! Or just look away. CHANGE THE DAMN channel.

Yeah and? You did an intro, was it so hard? If I wasn't a "car" guy and I signed up for a "car" board, I would pay attention when I signed up to see what the deal was... Not so hard...

Then why'd you read this one? Pot, Kettle, Black...

Don't go away mad, just change the damn channel... :D:D:D:D

Hey Logan....Thanks for the pic's and the find. The majority are appreciative of your interest in finding that old car out in the boonies. Ignore those that rant on about real ******** issues, the only reason I follow threads like this is to try to learn and one thing I am learning is that the more posts you have the more you might sound like a crazy ****er.

Exactly. What else do you want to know. He told us why he was posting. If he sticks around we'll find out the rest. If he doesn't who will care?

I read some intros and I respond to some. I follow threads like this because they are entertaining. You guys know how to rant. Thanks for sharing your find, Logan, hope you stick around. Oh, and welcome to the HAMB.:D

Hmm, apparently some people here are "elitists". Well good for you, I am not here to split hairs about internet ettiquite. I am here to learn and share.

Edward, nice idea, however I asked a park official today what there policy was about taking things like that out of the area. He stated it is part of the park, while he doesn't mind me taking the old gl*** bleach bottles and other small things from time to time, the homesteads are part of the park and the larger objects too. He said the car would be more than likely missed. He was nice about it though. Suprisingly, he did not know where it was I was I hiked into....guess I get around more than some of those guys.

Klaz, more pics to come, I do photography in my spare time, so unfortunatly there will mostly be junkers, and a few nice rods. An acquaintance built a nice rod, I'll point him in this boads direction when I see him later (if he doesn't know about it already) and see if he will put up pics. I'll just give him the heads up to post an intro or others will dismiss him before giving him a chance.

Too all that are only concerned with my cars I have owned, I put most of them in my profile. You will take 5 minutes to type up a rant, you can take 1 minute to look there. Not a big list. Not much of a car guy. Yup, sorry I did not know I had to hang in a garage 10 hours a day to post here...must have been in the rules about introducing myself somewhere....

  14. Logan, I didn't read your intro or even look at the pictures you posted. However, WELCOME to the HAMB. If you're here to learn or share, great. Don't let the Drama-rama scare you off. Not everuone here is ******** or obnoxious. Lots of good folks here with a collective knowledge that boggles the mind, so ask away and you'll surely get the answers you seek, and of course, a few you didn't ask for.

BTW - I posted an intro and I don't know everything about cars... that's why I'm here.

    Logan,
i had an 86 fiero, was a real POS but when it wasnt at the dealer getting fixed it was a fun car. you're a firefighter? then you understand rules. i have noticed the FNG's get a hazing here from a few...if it were me i would look at us, the fng's, as opportunities. how many times can you p*** the same old cars back and forth?

  16. Notice to all NEW GUYS[the easily offended especially].......

The HAMB is like any other location in this hotrod universe......
It always makes things go better if you dont start off by offending someone....

Instead -is it too much to ask- for you to do an intro of even a small degree?
No it seems you new folks like to push your way in and piss on the shoes of the established HAMB folks ,here rather than do even the slightest thing that may be interpreted as good ethics or manners.

I for one can tell you the:) feather lite abuse you suffered in the previous few posts is just that.....
In previous HAMB times that "abuse" would have been like comparing the hit of a featherduster to that of a sledge hammer, my new friends.

If you are offended- then so be it -we are better off without your types here......
I personally think there is no shop/garage or hot rod gathering place in the world that would tolerate the type of "I'm bustin in and takin over" at***ude some new people enter here with.........
think about it and if you have any sense AT ALL ,it should then make some to you......

  17. This thread cracked me up ! :D

Some o' you fellers are nuts ! , others are the chin under the nuts.

Johnny Cash wrote a song about how to get it.....

'course when you get down to the main hulk you'll have to backpack a cuttin' torch set and a fire extinguisher in... :)
