My '60 F250 is my daily driver but i just finally noticed the drag link rubs up against my front tire. Im wondering what size tires my stock set up was designed for, figure id start there before i adjust steering....ive got 275/80 r16 on what i believe are the stock 8lug rims .[IMG]

Tires were pretty skinny in those days.

Yea, i thought these tires were close to stock dimensions.Im also curious how folks fit power steering and headers on a y block f250, the stock set up is tight as it is ....

Drag link and not the tie rod end?
Check and see if the stops are still in place to prevent the wheels from turning too far. They are usually behind the nut that holds the wedge pin that holds the king pin in place and a lot of guys forget to put them back on when they replace the king pins. The truck makes tighter turns but the tire rubs the drag link on tight left turns.

That will not take long to cause a tire failure. Do not drive it until this has been rectified

Good call. The spindle arm stops were
missing on both sides. Funny how the most obvious things are the easiest to overlook. Easy fix. THANKS.
