My buddy has a '62 Buick Lesabre and he wants to convert the front brakes to disc's, but he has not been able to find and kind of swap or after market ways of doing this. Anyone know anything about this.

Get on Ebay, theyre is a company called Scarebird that is making brackets to install disc brake systems from parts available from the auto parts store. I'm seriously considering using them rather than rebuilding the factory drums on my 64 Riviera.

    Good Luck!!

  6. Here is another killer set-up I hear a lot about. Nice guy too.

Although my buddy building a 64 Nova went with the Scarebird set-up and is very pleased with it. They came zinc at no extra cost.

We just did the scarebird swap on my dad's '63 bonneville. Worked well, but beware that some machining needs to be done to the hubs to get them to fit into the rotor hats on the pontiac kit. I don't know if the buick kit is the same, but something to think about.
