I painted my 52 using this product for the clear. Applied 2 med wet coats as suggested . In direct sunlight you can see the tiger strip effect. It's in the clear and not the base. Can I wet sand and try to buff out, even if by hand ? At this point I'm trying to get more uniform. Thanks for any advice. I'm not looking to shoot again . Just improve. Re-spray. Better lighting to see that you have 50% overlap & uniform coverage.

  5. You MIGHT be able to rub it down in the same direction with a well worn grey scotch brite pad and make it look uniform.

If not, you'd have to rub it down anyway to reshoot it so you're no worse off. If you do reshoot, try backing off the surface a few inches and fog the last coat. It helps eliminate the stripe effect.

Not supposed to buff matte clear, but might be worth a try, you might like it. Worse thing that can happen is you still have to reshoot it.

If you do shoot it again, try a slower reducer, increase your overlap.
