GoonWorks, what body style is your 36 and does it have a rumble seat?
I ask because the spare tire mount often varies with the body style.
BTW, I likely have a spare tire mounting bracket but may not be for your needs.

mgtstumpy, NICE job of solving another "opportunity!"

He didn't post a rear view so can't tell if it is or isn't rumble seat or trunk version. Can't see a step pad on rear fender but that could have been removed over time.

The only thing that should have a SBC is your boat, every boat needs a good anchor.

OK, Tom, thanks for sharing your great solution.:) I think it definitely improves over my configuration.
The big question is what is it off of and where can we get one?
You can't post that cool of a solution and not give us more information... you know the HAMB... we always want more pictures and more information.;)
    Thanks again for sharing,
    Al
BTW, thanks, Don, for the added info (with pictures in the best HAMB tradition!!:)) on Noah's coupe. As shown, I wasn't smart enough to go looking first!! In my opinion, we are a team, and a great one, on the HAMB. Thanks for your continued interest and help. Hopefully, we'll hear back from Noah.

Don, you are very generous and kind... and easily fooled!!:D

Just kidding, of course, I feel honored to be an occasionally helpful member of the team.

Thankfully, you are a more thorough member of the team!!:)

    All the best,
    Al

I picked it up YEARS ago with a bunch of stuff for little or nothing. One day I got the urge to remove the spare to change the look a little and have a place for the old plate, remembered this light and made a bracket to use and cover the mounting nuts. After it was done a friend saw it and wanted to find a light for his ride. He sent me one on Ebay and it sold for upwards of $250.00!!! Makes me almost afraid to leave my car out. :)Tom...

Sorry for the long delay, my car has a trunk not a rumble seat. I had originally thought it was a rumble seat car but was shown the different brackets & locations & now I know how to tell. I'm definitely interested in your spare tire bracket if it's what I need. Thanks again!
