I am looking for a parts catalog that list coils with primary and secondary specs. I have been to my local autoparts stores (NAPA, Oreillys, etc..) and they don’t have this information. If I remember correctly, this information was listed in the back of ignition parts catalogs. It would be very much appreciated if a fellow Hamber could direct me to where I get this information.

    Respectfully,

    Sorry for the confusion.

I would like a list of ignition coils including the following info:

    Coil part number
    Primary resistance
    secondary resistance

    I appreciate your response.

Looked in my NAPA early car catalog dated 1969. It covers 1928-1956 vehicles, does not have the primary and secondary specifications.
Also checked my Blue Streak catalog from same era - no such luck.

Here's what you do. Go to your local Autozone and ask if you can look at their Ignition Coil test book that's kept at the Starter/Alternator tester. The book is by "Wells" I believe. It lists all Autozone coil numbers and gives the Primary and Secondary resistance test values. Ask if you can take pictures of the test pages with your cell phone. I think this could be a solid start for the information you are looking for.
