I'm in the process of gathering parts and doing research for my 26/28 Chevy lakes roadster. I need technical blueprints for both the body and frame. I'm having troube finding anything but early Ford blueprints.

    Anybody have any? Links?

    thanks

that drawing will work for your cowl .

here is what i'm up to with the same 1/4s.....my cowl is from a truck , closed car may be the same.....

my problem is that i have to adapt the cowl for stanchions....and build doors....

Nice! My problem is the doors as well. Adapting the 26 cowl to the 28 quarters. I"m going to remove the beltline on the quarters. Guess I'll be building doors. Chevy doors are all that common around there parts!

did you see Rottenleonards tech on doors? he makes it look achievable. it was in the last tech week ....too bad you are not closer i have an extra truck cowl and hood that i'll never use....your cowl looks like it is missing the lower 6" .....would it be easier to add the bead to the cowl as you repair the bottom?

BTW i also have the same frame as you to use for this build ....my plan is to place the 1/4s based on the wheel well.....place the firewall based on the rad/hood/engine block and measure the distance between for custom doors......i'm also going to use a bunch of cut up es*** parts for A and B pillars and subframe....i may even cut some up for the door edges aswell....anyways i hope this helps

Yeah I just saw that. Not to crazy about how he did it but it turned out well.

I quess I could add the bead. I havent decided quite yet. It's going to take a ton of fab work so any way I go about it will be a long precess
