Technical radiators for a stock A

What radiators are being used for stock 28s or 29 As I can't afford the repo brass and copper new ones so I was wondering which aluminum ones works the best. Give me the pro's and con's of what you have used or are using in the stock 29 shell.

 

there is quite few stockers out there, run a wanted ad... 'specially round SW Wash. and Portland.

 

Yeah I could walk to a stock one they aren't hard to find and even in a state of disrepair shouldn't be to spendy to patch

 

Take your rad shell to the local farm tractor wreckers and find a rad that fits. Tractor rads tend to be narrower than modern automobile rads and have good cooling capacity.

 

local FARM TRACTOR WRECKERS???? At 72 yrs, I have yet to find one.
Auto wreckers are getting scarce.

Somebody told me a 64-65 Mustang stood vertical works , have my doubts but check it out..

 

I looked into them a bit but the measurments they all gave all seemed to be too narrow and too high for the 28/29 shell so never acctually risked buying one.
