I define baddest........not by looks nor sound...........But only by the E.T. slip from the 1320..........Way too many StreetRods dressing in HotRod clothing out and about these days..............Littleman

And you should know, Littleman. Your pickup is probably near,if not at, the front of the pack. Someone post up a pic of this not-ratty, not-posing, carefully crafted truck..

Lots of stuff is bad... there is no way to pick a winner by just one or two factors. Looks? Speed? Reliability? Comfort? Picks up chicks? Has a seat for a chick, even? Fit n finish? Trick stuff? Negotiates speed bumps? Luggage space? Ha ha. Gary

To me, Trucks are meant to do work, and one that can do the job well, and look good doing it is even better. The Golden Sahara Haul Truck fits the bill better then most.

No picture but ElPolacko's truck has to be one of the baddest. He felt it was OT and never talked about it, my memory is hazy but mid 50's F100 with all his suspension & fabrication workmanship and a seriously tubocharged, intercooled 460(?) with all the race duty dressings.

Really well said. So many "bad-***" pseudo fuel altereds out there that wont crack 13's, the rod-abillies squirt all over them, time slip tells the tale...How "bad-***" is it when a soccer mom in an Escalade wipes it up...

Heres one of my favorite bad-*** HAMB friendly trucks...

Here is Ted Radoumis' Willys shot by Tom Davison at GNRS.
    GNRS-2.jpg
This truck sounds AWESOME and is street driven with a 6-71 and mechanical injection. (For those that think it can't be done.) Ted and Mike Moore raced this this truck in the 60s, then Nolan Brandt and Ronnie LaHae were involved when Ted raced it in Houston. Reacquired, returned to LA, and restored, Ted doesn't drive it quite as much these days, but not because of the injection. He finally got the Halibrands shiney.

What I like about Littlemans deal is that he has gone to the effort to make six twos really work. Two thumbs way up on that...

John, your Stude was the very first truck I thought of when I saw the tread ***le!!

To the HAMB...You owe it to yourself to see this truck in person!! Stellar craftsmanship, aggressive styling, and it couldn't have been built by a nicer guy!!!!

    Kudos, John!!

  27. Well this one was pretty fast for a street driven brick, and didn't sound half bad but I wasn't much to look at. :D
