Just a thought,, If we list our needed parts list here maybe someone else has it and we can share.. I'll wait with my list to see if this thought is received well or maybe redundant to another thread

I don't see that working because it would get too long and people are not good at updating, examples like this on the main board cl***ifieds where guys have 20+ BTT's after their ads. So lets try this, post a new thread starting with "Wanted" in the header then when you use the "search" function "for this forum only" they will come up.To answer a response use the "Conversation" link to reply which will keep this forum less cluttered and your financial discussions private, most IMPORTANT keep your post edited when you find or sell your parts.

    Sounds like a plan, Jeff.
Would it work for parts available too? I have a few I can part with.

Jeff has a good point. On the 54 Ford Forum, parts wanted only stay up for a limited number of days, then are removed. They're also removed if the person lets the moderator know that the part has been found.

    That's probably not possible here.

But the point is that a "parts needed" list can get long, ***bersome and outdated very quickly.

Yes, Use the header "4 SALE" but edit out the parts you sell after the sale.

I'll start. I'm still looking for a set of upper control arm splash shields for a 55-56.

I think you gotta create a new thread starting with "Wanted".

That is rule #1 ! From your Moderator, I do not want to end up cleaning up dead threads like I did in the "FAQ" so read the rules and things should work OK. ;)

Not counting the 2 daily drivers to maintain, I've got the 3 in my avitar to contend with.

Jeffs thoughts of individuals starting separate parts for sale or wanted ads is the best idea.

Even as a Administrator over on the '54 Ford Club of America site I get behind on deleting older ads,our rules state the ad will only run 90 days and if you didn't sell or buy you can relist for another 90 days.

Often the items are sold but the member forgets to let me know thus the 90 day rule. HRP
