Running into a few problems with wiring headlights and taillights with the rebel wiring. Does anyone know where I can find a 12 volt pigtail.

When you convert to 12 volts you need to take the load off the switch as most 12 volt headlamps over the counter are now halogen and if you do not use relays they will be very dim,this will make it "plug and play" http://www.ebay.com/itm/H4-Headligh...-Systems-Fix-Dim-Lights-7-x-6-1-/281146731971 The pigtails for the tailights can be found at Autozone under $2 I got mine there.
do post pics of your wiring job if you can, i plan to rewire my 53' Mainline this summer, so I would really like to see!
For the tailights, I did away with the Ford sockets and went with a newer GM type. Had to open the holes to 1.125" to accept them. http://www.wiringdepot.com/store/p/...-Mount-Snap-In-Light-Socket-Pigtail-1-Pc.aspx
Just a thought...I replaced my oem tailight sockets with sockets that had a grounding tab. That was in keeping with wiring my car as if it were a fibergl*** car. Tailights can be a particular problem because you are normally depending on sheetmetal screws to make the contact into tailight bezels which in turn may have their own contact problems due to paint, gaskets, etc. Years down the road when things rust, screws loosen, etc you start having grounding problems. Everything on my car is wired grounds to terminal strips in turn wired to a ground distribution box next to the battery.
