I'm looking for a simple option to make so I can mount my 49 ford on to have it blasted and so i can weld up floors. Has anyone built their own tip over body dolly like this or have any suggestions on something similar? Not really looking to build or a buy a rotisserie.

Google homemade car tilter and also homemade car rotisserie then click on images, lots of great ideas.

  3. Buddy of mine made one out of 2X6's. Worked pretty well. I'm sure he said he copied someone else's idea off the innerweeb.

I built this roll-over style, my roadster is pretty light compared to a 49 Ford though.
Originally, I had planned on having some round tubing bent up but found some hoops made from one inch square tubing. I cut the belly out of them and made a pair of one by two inch quarter rounds. These were at a local welding/trailer supply place. IIRC, they use them for the front end framework of enclosed trailers. 20160315_095823.jpg 20160315_100342.jpg
