image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg I figured since my build is moving along, I'd start a thread to open up conversation and exchange tips and tricks.

Ch***is looks great! Can't wait to see the rest of the car. How do you like those headers so far? I almost bought a set for my build. Still thinking about it but waiting for some feedback from people that have ran them.

No lie, those headers look cool, but we're a ***** to put on, I had to chamfer a mounting hole and they come with Allen fasteners, no room to swap out with a bolt and very tight to get on, I made an the Allen key about 1/2 in length to get in there.

That is gonna be sooooo sweet! Love the power plant you are using and the color on it. No brand "X" here. Big work ahead of you, but it was in more pieces when new!
Have you set the body on the ch***is to get tire clearance? I want to put 8" wheels on mine too

I didn't bother to check any clearances, there's so much welding to do I said screw it, wheel tubs and easy tire changing, although if I could do it over I'd went an inch wider on both sides, the weld bead from narrowing interferes with the outside u bolt

What shifter are you using? Looks like it will clear the bench seat in a sedan with no problem.
