Nothing besides it appears to be Shoe Box based .

  3. I can take a guess, and say it was never completed, as someone would know it if it had been, but I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time, haha.

Looks like somebody tried to make something along the lines of Gene Winfield's creation that he made out of what I think it was a Ford Econoline van. I think they made a hot wheel out of it. If I recall had surfboards in/on the bed. Can not remember what it was called though. Old age I guess...

Reminds me of an old Econoline van as well, but chopped and stretched. Wild.

I saw several photos of it awhile back... I think it was on the customs & coachbuilding group on Facebook. It appears to be an abandoned project, but an incredibly daring and ambitious one that was going in some really great directions (think 60s show rod). I hope the builder starts work on it again.

Wow, talk about "Cab-Forward Look" ...
Maybe I'd like it finished, w/Winfield style paint-fade,
but my eyes are hurtin' from the proportion(s) of that.
& I don't think it reminds me of the Alexander Bros Deora.

Maybe they were trying to imitate the car carrier Mercedes made for their race cars that was sort of based on the gullwing coupe?

May have been a "Let's see what it looks like if we set the top here" photo. Or
Build your own super wild COE.
