Hot Rods What's to do in Napa, CA over Easter weekend?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 210ken, Mar 19, 2016.

  1. ...besides the obvious wine community stuff? My daughter lives there but isn't into cars or choppers. May need a break from the fam between 22nd and 27th.
I'll be moving there in about 18 months too. I know Sonoma Raceway is nearby. Anything else? Shops, builders, history?

Thanks in advance for any tips

We finally had some sun for a few days. Got the roadster out for a short cruise for the first time in a long while. Supposed to rain again tomorrow. Weds drags at Sonoma should be up and running. I've been working like crazy and have been out of the loop a bit. There was a cool little Mercedes SL museum in south Napa but I don't think it's there any more. Check out the crazy Ferrari collection at Far Niente winery. Wish I was more help!

  6. Blowby, Devin & Bob,

Thx for the replies. Cadbury eggs, mmmmmm, excellent plan! Any swaps or local flea markets?

There's a flea market on the weekends on Hwy 29 halfway between Napa and Vallejo. I haven't been in a year or so. Also flea markets in Santa Rosa, Sebastapol and Oakland. Not much for car parts at any, OK for tools, excellent for learning how to speak Spanish. If I had to pick I'd hit the Santa Rosa one but it's only Sunday. Dunno about the others, or Easter schedule. Good Guys was this weekend.

Literally just drove by it. Horrible pic! ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1458503247.169629.jpg

There is pacific auto salvage across the street, sometimes they have some cool old cars. Also Altissimo is across the street too. Amazing cars from there some times. Case in point: ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1458503346.967821.jpg
