ugh... later model sbc with rocket v.covers...

how could ya forget that badass little red international chrysler hemi pu??? hehe just playin [that was my fav and its co-owned by a buddy of my father].

i wasn't too disappointed at this years show... but it was still a muscle car/chainer fest. maybe im just too skeptical... but i figured with the recent "rAt r0d!!11" craze, people would be bringin shit outta the woodwork. I mean, we're in ft worth for god's sakes... i see real hot rods around town all the time and not one of them were at the show this weekend. lol. :(

    Yeah. But it's not.

Fern, Texas has had "Texas Rods" for decades now. It involves graphics, chrome, lots of wire loom, fake 14" rotors covering drums, and the cheapest mag wheels you can buy from Pep Boys. It's simply amazing to me the number of cars with those 14" modular wheels and BFGs. :vomit:

Danny, you're right. They're disgusting... really really dislike that crew..

I saw so many slotted/drilled disk brake simulators on old cars this weekend, it was enough to make a grown man cry...

lots of nice tri powers runnin around, however. that was nice to see amongst the billet and torque thrust IIs..

Is it promoted much. I barly heard anything about it. I just so happen to hear something on the radio. I guess if i hung around muscle car guys I would hear more.

haha... I go to that show if I happen to be in the area, so you probably saw one of my cars in the parking lot last year. :D Most the guys with real cars don't wanna see that shit. I go to laugh.

Yeah it was still a good show no matter what some say on here. I can appreciate all customs. There were a few cars I didn't care for but that is how it goes.

Yeah there is a scene. Harry's Hot Rods has a few things but is really more like the old Super Shops stores if you know what those are. Seems like there are a few more places poping up here and there.

I thought it was WAY better than the autorama at least....that '32 sedan was gorgeous!! Everything on it was nearly perfect. The black 5-window with the salt flats was very nice too.

Very low on customs this year. Don't remember seeing a lead sled in the bunch.
