Just got this from ebay motors $20 off a purchase of $100+ you must enter the code CMOTORS316 Not sure if it works on everything but won't hurt to try.

Sure would be nice if it does. I will try it soon.

Used to be that eBay would let you acrue a small percentage on eBay bucks in the eBay motors category. Now they obviously don't. That coupled with the fees to sellers on the shipping (how much of our stuff is cast iron or heavy metal) has really made the inventory on eBay take a hit for our kind of parts. Not what it used to be....

I won't accept paypal for payment anymore, I sold an intake and they wanted me to ship it at my expense and wait 20 days to clear the payment "upon inspection" ? on a used as is item.

Was that Paypal that wanted you to do that or the buyer on eBay. Unreasonable no matter who the part was...

Paypal, they have split from ebay and are their own en***y. I called for an explanation because I cancelled the transaction to the buyer so I could message him why I cancelled,he had no idea they changed the policy. So with the "new rule" someone could lie to paypal that they did not like the product but keep it anyway and good luck ever seeing a payment clear.

Paypal now do require photographic proof that you have returned the item before they will give you a refund. It is annoying for sellers that they hold funds for 3 weeks before they will release it to your linked account. Paypal still works well but it certainly has an effect on eBay. I don't know how it works with merchants that accept PayPal.
