I am really thinking of buying a project car from a national small-marque club member, but he is very old school, elderly, frail health (hard to get around), and no digital camera, etc. His response is "come look at it and see if you want it" (he can't grasp that that is hard for me to do at 2,000 miles away in Michigan). Only reason I'm driving there the distance or have it shipped, is if I KNOW I want it. My few acquaintances in AZ have flaked out on me, and I'm hesitant to pull the trigger on a convertible that has has the top baked off....without knowing what I'm getting into.
