Need some help with my Rad, I have a 37 Plymouth that I want to reuse the rad as its in good shape, but the upper and lower rad hose inlets do not have a raised lip on them, they are smooth and are made from cast iron, I don't want hoses blowing off....Does anyone have an idea on how to add a raised lip to the inlets.....Thanks

I don't think you'll have an issue at all.
And Bader's correct---hard to fashion a ridge on cast iron

How about drilling and taping some holes and putting some small round head screws in them. Slide the hose over the screws and hose clamp behind them.

Put the proper size hose on and forget it, it will be fine! If you are worried put on 2 clamps. Gary
