Jim Rockstad, Portland,Or. Ran an injected BBC, then installed the Blown early Chrysler out of Jack Coonrod's Willys, and totaled it out !
Bison Dragway A / Gasser out of Edmonton Useless trivia - Anglias were banned from running superchargers in the A/Gas category due to their short wheelbase until 1969
OK I know this first one is not an Anglia but it leads into the Anglia story Skip Hess spent much of his free time at Burner s Auto Body. His first car was a 32 Ford with a 354ci Chrysler engine. Skip drove this car to school and would race it at Paradise Mesa drag strip. That early start led to this famous Anglia Gasser change of color They renamed their car "Skipper's Critter" but changed back to Shores and Hess again. They moved up to the A/Gas Supercharged class. One more of Critter supercharged.
The Skip Hess story then led me to this equally famous one. THE KOHLER BROTHERS 'KING KONG" Kohler Brothers King Kong AA /GS and trophy girl More wheels up action in the pits Engine Shot With Mustang push car LOL

porkandbeaner, I believe the reason this didn't get in earlier is because this is the Anglia Gasser thread. The Hrudka Bros Panel is a 1936 WILLYS
LOL color me dumb. Ya know every article where I have seen it mentioned over the years called it a rare Anglia sedan delivery. Of course this is one of very few front 3/4s I have seen of it and I did not pay attention. Sorry fellas. I'll delete the pic so as not to burn bandwidth on this thread.
