Didn't get a chance to meet you pete, sorry. Wasn't feeling well.

The display was cool - and your car rocks. Loved the knobbys on the back and the plumbing stax!

Ya forgot me! Remember, the old guy. I had a great time meeting who I did from the H.A.M.B. I was in a position to see the WHOLE dirtyt/fathack show and those two were on a roll. I don't think there was a babe that didn't meet them. LOL. I also met sticklifter on the escalator.

Pete, it was great to see you and Mrs FlatheadPete again as well. Many thanks to the NightMares for "hosting" the HAMB Meet & Greets. It's cool to have such a nice display area to hang out in. The couchs ROCKED. The NightMares cemetary theme was very cool and would have been my choice for the Club Display award. I coukd tell alot of time and thought went into it. Great job!

We met but were not officially introduced... I was the fat harry dude with the bandana on that was with Chris (29Rat). Since Chris is a friggin savage he neglected to formally introduce us so I just kinda stood there looking lost and confused as seen in this picture:

I was blown away by pretty much every car down there and I'm in awe of the talent on this website.

I'm going back into my hole now to lurk and stay out of everyones way.

Pete was one of the few people I did get to see (thinking about it, I think we've met before, actually) - we got into Detroit at 2:30 and spent so long sitting in line for parking that it was almost 4 when we got inside. I also met two fours, who has an amazing restored '65 Buick GS stuffed full of dual-quad Nailhead (*drool*) I also met... gosh, sinister something. He had the beautiful bobbed Triumph in the motorcycle section. Nice guys, I'm sorry I didn't get to meet up with more people, though!

It is awesome but it is not mine... When I looked through the album I just noticed I was standing in the back ground of that picture looking all hairy and fat and lost.

  10. I told you I wasn't feeling well, one of the few times he actually kept his mouth shut, but i'm used to it. Savage! That's you.

Not only is that a picture of Pete, but in the back, leaning on Pete's car, is the one and only "****Hater."

Pete...it was nice talking to you! I couldn't even begin to list everybody I met. Then there was a lot that I missed.

  19. Thanks for a place to hang out Pete, that was a great display.

It's amazing how many of us know each other because of this message board. I probably met 20 or so new people this weekend.

Just one big happy hotrod family:D

Sounds corny, but it really was a great time. Where else can you walk around with a beer in hand, visit all the different clubs, look at hot rods, do a little bird watching ;) and meet new people in the middle of winter.

Seemed like I knew half the people in the ba*****t by name and the ones I didn’t know, I got to meet. I didn’t get to talk to or spend nearly as much time as I wanted with everyone and I still lost my voice.

Big Thanks to Roadstar & HRLC for the setup p***, 62 wagon for the weekend p***es, The Nightmares, Koffin Kickers, So-What Crew and HRLC for the hospitality.

I was only there for a limited time on Thursday, and saturday evening. I did make it a point to meet some new people, and catch up with some familiar faces. Great to meet and see the bunch of ya's.
    A few observations:
1- Deaths doorstep is a bad *** ride.
2- The lunar lander is better looking in person, not that I didnt like it in pictures.
3- Clark and the guys have some cool rides, and are quite approachable, being movie stars and all.:D
4- The Ionia Hot Rod Shop roadster is perfect, I would not change a thing.
5- Free beer from DirtyT beats a $6.00 cobo beer anyday.

    Cant wait til next year!
