I 'm Ironwayne , I'm called that because I'm a blacksmith and make stuff out of what everyone else throws away . Friends of mine keep telling me to check this site out so this morning I did . Someone asked for advice on a Binks #7 spray gun . I have one I bought in 1975 and probabbly have painted 400 hundred cars with it with not one problem . Last week I painted a truck with Matrix base and clear and it doesn't need buffing .In 1084 I bought a new gun but still haven't needed it . Dat's it for now .
Welcome to the HAMB, I think a lot of people here would like to spend a day in a forge making stuff from s****. Bob
The good thing about iron is if isn't what you need you can heat it and beat it into something else .
Where can I get a good Anvil, Wayne? A new one, from you know where, isn't going to work. Good old school, like Wile Coyote used to use. Shipping is a problem, although the professional parcel manglers (probably) can't hurt it.
My dad's friend was smith in Long Island City NY....Ralph Casarano , nicest guy ever , would sharpen my dad's jackhammer chisels ....had a great laugh....
