Just a quick thread to see who is coming to the spring Charlotte Auto Fair this year..April 7-10... Are you buying or selling? What are you looking for? What are you selling? Where's your space? Where are you hanging out in the evenings? I have bikes, bike projects and parts, some 30's Ford mechanical brake parts, miscellaneous iron Flathead heads, Assorted Flathead and SBC parts....And I'll have my brushes and 1Shot if anyone wants their newfound treasure personalized. My space is #4044 which is on the access road just outside turn three, before you get to the Green Field. Come by, say hello, and introduce yourself!!!
I hope to be there on Friday and Sat.... Just looking this year, not selling. If I get over your way, I'll say hello Brett!
^^^You'll b e "sorely" missed!! (see what I did there?!?!) Forgot to mention...I'm looking for a good drivers door for a 40-46 Chevy truck at a bargain and 30-31 A Tudor over-door roof panels...again for a song!!!
I'll be there on my new spaces GGB 104-106 (in the middle of the new road course) near the turn #2 gate. Will have a BBC headers, '39-'40 backing plates, a few small left over '34 parts, a 1 owner '48 Chevrolet 5 window, '64 Comet and what ever other miscellaneous stuff I can load before I get tired. Blue field has changed a bit due to the construction of the new road course.
I am looking for a Hamb relay for a pair of rear fenders from Philadelphia to the Charlotte Autofair. The box weighs 41 pounds and I will pay you for your time. Thanks, Send me a PM or Conversation for more information
Hey Brett, I'll be in the usual spaces XXO-19,20,21 - Orange Field against the fence by the tunnel - hanging out with my buddy Cliff at his motor home. I'm looking for an elcheapo Hurst 4 speed shifter and linkage for the early 60's Ford T10 transmission that TomT is bringing for me. I still have to root through the garage for spare goodies to bring. I'll be there Wednesday afternoon till Sunday morning. See you there. Lee.
I'm sorry to hear of your mishap, but hope that you are mending well. Several years ago, the son of a good friend fell from a tree and broke his ankle. I teased him by telling him "you know, they shoot horses". Without a moment's hesitation, he replied ".... Or put them out to stud". Hey, you could have a new career. Get well soon.
Should have posted "near turn #1 gate". Recommend U get a directory when U enter as a whole lot of vendors have been moved - some to the Orange Field & Green field.
I'll be in the orange field turn three on the fence...I hope to be there Thursday thru Saturday...got some decent Model A left overs and various and sundry junk...
Yeah, but it's gonna be COOOOOLLLLDDDD Friday and Saturday nights! You FLA guys might set the RV on fire just to stay warm!! Save the RV...get a room!
You mean I might have to wear long pants? That was never part of the bargain. I'll just have to suck it up I guess. Wait, you mean shoes too? I think I have some buried under my flip flops. See ya there B4C.
The light rain is just about over and the rest of the weekend weather looks cool and clear. Should be great for walking the swap.
OSV-4044-4045...OSV (OutSide Vendor) used to be car corral spaces. It's actually on the sidewalk on the service/access road that runs from the turn 4 tunnel to the backstretch tunnel OUTSIDE turns 3 and 4. space 4000 is next to the back tunnel, for orientation....
Sadly gonna miss it this year. With the house on the market and lack of extra cash available I'm kinda stuck.
