I'm not normally a huge fan of the no-hubcap, original wheels look but the two-door over the prime mover cabin, tied down pretty hard (i.e. lowered by another means) just looks real hot. Whitewalls help but I just really like the look.

I just mentioned this in another "historical" thread the other day. There are time when a modern picture just adds so much to the value of this thread, I know it is frowned upon, but this is a wonderful couple of photographs Maggie.

a few pictures up there is a photo of a black and white 55 Chevy convert-rare color combo. There is a mint one around the corner from me-stunning car-old fella passed on-best I have ever seen. Rarely see a black and white 55 convert. This is my favorite thread of all. THX to all who post here.
