Yesterday I payed forward a Model A Engine "Runs but smokes"

and a rear axle rebuilt by a shop. (Came with my 29 Phaeton w. Receipt for $1,500!!!)

(going to the Big Island)

 

It seems like this is not gaining traction but I'll give it a little more time before I give up on the entire thread. The '32 shock is still available plus the items I'll show here. The shocks are '32 (shown in previous post) and the other is late forties. The "link" is off sixties something vette...NOS. The timing cover is 59ab and the E-brake handle is a '40 Ford (altered). PM me if interested. Again, it's alll free to who "Needs" it. Tim Shocks went to Texas and the E-brake handle is now in Hawaii. The timing cover and link still need a home!!!

 

Looks like we have interested hambers for the shocks and e-brake handle. I'll give the other stuff a couple of days. Tim

CBJ: It's not actually an original idea. Someone did it a couple of years ago and I just revived it. It's another method of doing something with "another Man's junk". It's now someone Else's treasure. Thanks for the thought however. Tim

 

I got some left over 48-52 F-1 parts if anyone wants them. Let me know what you need. I'll post some specific parts soon. Great thread I'm in.

I have a pile of 882 sbc heads, mid 70's smog heads, these were the best of the bad. If someone needs a set, they are in central IL, I get to that shop once a month we could work out timing, pick up required. Send me an IM.

I can't bring myself to scrap them, but they are getting in the way.

 

OK, finally got out to the attic over my garage and I found more stuff than I thought. This stuff is from a 48-52 Ford F-1 . Didn't even know it was HAMB worthy until I started my 31 coupe and joined here and was surprised to see these trucks are "allowed". I would have been on here a long time ago.

Here's the deal on these doors. They were the ones on my F-1, excellent condition. Took them to get blasted and the jerk warped the outer door skin. I tried to fix one and finally cut out the warped area and the panel relaxed. The other one is warped too, buy I never tried to fix it based on the outcome of the first one. Someone with better metal shaping skills ma y want these. BUT, they are heavy and shipping will have to be completely arranged by whoever wants them.

 

These are repo parking light stainless trim and the lenses. I liked my old yellowed ones better. These are NIB

 

Ok here's some of the good stuff. More than one person may want this so you gotta tell me how much you want it ! The bungs on the back are stripped and I took it to be re chromed and I was told it wouldn't come out well.

 

This grille has rust for sure, but it can be restored.

 

Best for last. Stainless hood trim. Not sure if they're for a F-1, 2, 6 ? If you need it only. All the stuff first come gets it, so be sure you need it better than the next HAMB'er. Hope this thread doesn't get buried, keep it alive. PM me if interested.

It's cool, I know the stuff is worth something cause I sold lots of similar stuff on an all Ford truck site I'm on too. The thread just needs some visibility.

 

I'm going to bttt for the F-1 guys. Gotta be a dozen or so on here that could use some of Dino's pile.

 

A little help for Dino.

 

To date, I have shipped the headlight, firewall, shocks and '40 brake handle. The timing cover and link are still available as well as Dino's stuff.

 

I am interested in the Steering Wheel, The door Handles and the parking lights. I also am looking for a set of door panel inspection plates. I have a 1948 Ford F-2 that needs all the parts I mentioned. Thanks so much! I am a college student, working on a couple projects in my spare time.

OK, the 48-50 parking lights are different. Don't have the inspection panels. You're welcome to the steering wheel, I'm not sure if they are the same as 51-52. The wheel is from 52. The handles are the same I think. PM me with your address etc.
