Technical Trying to start 1928 Model A after 35 years of sitting.

    Congratulations! Double check things to see if it is legal to carry kids in the Model A, and get a proper seat installed for the new born first ride. Bob

  2. Now to the brakes. Make sure there is plenty of material left on the shoes, that the pins are tight and the rods are adjusted. When you get a little further into it, you will probably be replacing the bushings on the pedals (both brake and clutch), but they should be okay unless absolutely ragged. Have fun!

    My buddy just picked up a 30 Tudor and just wanted the body so I got the front drums off of it and put them on mine because they're in WAY better shape!
    Mine were roached out pretty bad.
    I did get new shoes for it as well.

    I was just going to run distilled water and Water Wetter from RedLine oil.
    What do you guys run in yours?

    Beautiful, sounds great! If your buddy has other spare drivetrain parts, grab them for spares. Looks like you have room to store them in that nice big shop.

    Yeah I grabbed a few drum brake parts and might take his rear axle.
