No noise from anywhere! I let the clutch pedal out with the shifter in any position and nothing happens. Both axle keys are intact as well.
I have not taken the inspection off the top of the trans yet. I'm going to do that tonight I think.

Think I would jack up the rear, brace the car well. Try turning the wheels by hand, any noises in the rear? Crawl under & turn driveshaft -noises? Start while in the air. Something broken or locked up somewhere.

So..... I pulled the left rear hub off tonight and low and behold.. No axle key in the slot. So I got looking through the box of extra parts that came with the car and found one! Guess what?! The car moves now.
The clutch still won't disengage but at least the car moves when I step on the starter but I still haven't pulled the top cover off the trans yet so we'll see what's going on in there when I do that.

Nice to hear the progress ahead, even if it is under the power of the starter motor! Keep up the good work man! ... Such a cool car

I pulled the drain plug on the transmission last night, some fluid came out but the rest was this.

I got the cover pretty clean now so I just have to disconnect the parking brake lever and remove the bolts around the cover to take it off.
