Good morning . Here is a drawing I did this week for a post by lewk. It's called [What's this barn find death machine built of ? ] It was a horrible build. But had a Buick nail head and a T body. I drew this of my 34 Dodge Delivery to see what it would look like lettered . I decided it looks better with nothing on it. What you think ? I would appreciate any of your ideas. There's a lot of talent here. Show me what you think would be Cool. I'll post a picture of it with my sketch. what would you put on it ? I'm taking my grandson on a Road Trip so I will be away from my P.C. THANKS Ron...

First off, nice stuff from everyone today;
......ok,...some "off the wall" stuff from me today;...it's been often said that American 5-spoke mags look good on anything,...I did these sketches to help prove that point.

...back in 1990 a friend wanted a few sketches to see how he could fix up his 51 Chevy sedan delivery;...I did a few good ones but did this one just to poke a little fun and I liked it the best.

 

Love the subject matter of this old photo. If it doesn't belong here the Moderators can take it down. Thought someone like Corvette Bob could copy it, and add his touch to him. Great show so far this week guys.

I would love to work on something like this, but I would need a much larger original image. Maybe there's a bigger file somewhere?

Hey Ron, the delivery looks beautiful solid red . My suggestion would be keep it simple if you letter it and just use gold (maybe gold leaf) and a nice pinstripe along the body relief lines (high belt line and drip real-aroud the rear of the car each.) it would be cl***y but, with the chop top, it really doesn’t seem necessary. Beautiful hot rod!

Awesome. Great show. Just a couple of old ones this week.

 

What they do now is add a “Featured” flag to the top right edge of the “Alliance member” header banner Larry. I think it serves the same purpose but to find it you have to go to the HAMB home page prior to the HAMB message board. Stickies were, however, adde a few times. Wish I knew why the FAS isn't as favored as days gone by...
