Does anyone know the width of the rearend for a 1960 Dodge D100 pickup either flange to flange or wheel mounting face to wheel mounting face? Also, if I use a later 8.75 inch Mopar differential (1969-1974) with a 489 case and gear set and limited slip differential, what are the specs on the axles I will need to use with this setup? Thanks in advance for any ***istance.
I'm pretty sure the later rear end is around 59" backing plate to backing plate. 1960 is close but might be a little narrower. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I have a '59 Dodge in the garage. The p.o. replaced the rear end, but I believe it is correct. Hard to get a good measurement, but backing plate to backing plate looks 58-59"
