    I don't know this is worthy to post but it is early transport and this place was along Bayshore Highway just south of San Francisco. Stood just near the Main Gate of Moffett Field Naval Air Station which I noticed a few photos on the lovely site. earlytransport.jpg

    My family: 1942...Klamath Falls, Oregon....posing in front of the wood-hauling truck....just before grandpa went to the Pacific....my grandma drove that old truck for the only 'family transportation' till he returned in 45' 005.jpg

    Wish there was, but there was no mention of it in the rest of the yearbook.
    (It's a '56 Mainline Tudor - or about 3/4 of one. :rolleyes:)

    And here's one I took myself way back in 1970; this '38 Dodge was near the Mystery Ship Seaport in Menominee, MI:

    It's had a few mods; besides the headlights moved out on the fenders and '49 Plymouth bumpers, note the deleted running boards and molded-in rear fenders. Rear wheels look like later 15-inch with '55-'56 Ford dog dish caps. I recall it being either pale blue or pale green. Wonder if it's still around?
