I'm in the process of getting my body ready to mate to new subframe assembly. I need to replace or patch up a few things 1st My questions are. What are the called and where can I find them. I have Macs , Snyders , and looked through Howells online. I don't see pics of them and simply haven't been able to figure out what the part is called or the part #s are. The ( door post ) bottoms are rotted bad. Pass side may be salvageable. But drivers side is gone . Do they make a lower patch for this ? The other is tense triangle gussets at the bottom of the doorpost that are also pretty bad. Yes I could patch em up to get buy. But much rather would replace with good ones or new ones. Here is a couple pics. Oh and also these front lower mounts that are cracked , what are they called and where to get them ? Thanks in advance. Chris
I don't know if anybody makes new ones-have you tried Howell's/Brookville? You might also try: Bill's Model Acres Ford Farm 3355 8th Street Dr,Watsontown, PA 17777 (570) 538-3200 He's got an awful lot of Model A original stuff and likely knows what you need. Good guy.
Thanks guys. I'll look into some of the places mentioned. But ya I'm leaning towards making my own. Sent from my SM-N920V using H.A.M.B. mobile app
