Maybe Chick and I will be back next year.
But the Chevy is giving any Ford a run for the money, well executed and it shows how tradition (which when the Chevy was built was 'normal' rod building) holds for many years.

Does Jo's still serve great coffee and muffins in the morning and great cold longnecks in the afternoon?

Survivor cars are not that rare as of late and lot's of '32 Fords have been unearthed in the last few years but what is rare is a completely different Deuce..the'32 chevy looks great and really stands out in a sea of fords. HRP

That Chevy looks great but it makes me wonder how Fords ever became the dominant hot rod back in the day. There were more Chevies made than Fords. The stovebolt 6 looks like a more advanced motor than a flathead, and should have made equivalent power. I never drove anything with a buggy spring suspension, could that have been an advantage for Fords?

Thanks Ryan for the vote. It was a great weekend and I'm glad the ol chevy got a lot of love. I really appreciate everyone checking it out. I just got it back to the house and tucked in. The road grime will have to stay until tomorrow.

That Chevy is what I would call an "honest" car. No pretense or extraneous ******** about it, just an honest survivor hot-rod. So glad to see so many folks preserving the history of these cars. Happy and amazed that it didn't get turned into a fluffy "street rod" at some point.

As I was looking thru The Round-Up pics, I kept coming back to this sweet little Chevy. It brought back memories of a '33-34 Chevy sedan that was just up the road at the corner garage in the parts yard. I do remember climbing in and "going thru the gears", but that was as far as it got! Hope you had a great time.

Very cool boss thanks for the run down on it. I had seen some other photos of it from the event and was wondering about all of the information you gave us on it.
    Thanks
