    Hi guys

I'm wanting to get a Hurst style mount drawn up and cut out but I want to access the timing cover and run a Mechanical pump. Running in 32 rails

Pics or advice or a drawing would be sensational

    Thanks in advance

  5. there supposed to be a spacer between the mount and the block that allows room for a pump

Build your frame mounts, set your engine height, and make a template. I cut this one from 3/8" plate on a band saw. You will need a 1/4" spacer between the block and the plate for a stock fuel pump.

Check in with deto here on the HAMB, and his 49 Chevrolet Coupe build. He said he still has the specs/equipment to reproduce the one he made for his car, and still has the mechanical fuel pump. Nice work too.

I have a Hurst saddle mount in my Deuce. I have 3/4" spacers to enable me to run a manual fuel pump.
