im selling my 50 Chevy business coupe. i love this ride and hate to see it go. check my profile to see pics. feel free to ask any questions. BODY- original paint with chips, dents, scratches, serious fading/primer spots throughout. minimal surface rust. body is pretty straight with good gaps, etc. RUST- there was rust in the floorpans but each rusted area (about 16" x 10") was repaired to a very high standard using high quality sheet metal - all contours line up, etc. some scaling rust and minor rust in trunk pan. the rest of the car is solid. FRAME- the car has been clipped (z'd) and c'd in the rear. a 74' camaro donated the axles, clip, engine, brakes, etc. has training arms and panhard bar - slammed, no bags, etc. ISSUES- car needs new shocks - current ones have too much travel considering the ride height. original gauges do not work, have a full set installed under the dash - has tac. INTERIOR- clean, simple, 50's era. new carpet, head liner, and vinyl throughout. New side glass - a little thick so windows roll up after a Herculean effort. MECHANICALS- 74 SBC bored .30 over. scat crank, JE pistons, large Canfiled heads, comp cam - sounds good. 375 hp or so. TCI tranny rated up to 450 hp. Edelbrock carb, intake, and valve covers. Strong mini starter, MSD etc., electric and mechanical fan. I do not have the original drivetrain. Newer exhaust with cutouts. Drivetrain has - at the most - 2,000 miles. Aluminum radiator. lol at shifter. Front disc brakes. Power steering and power brakes. MISC- wheels are modified factor wheels with fresh powdercoat. have another set in original paint that are original to the car. matching 50 TX plates. this is great ride. it has had two small "features" in Hot Rod Deluxe.
