So i put a new AVS 650 on my 66 327 stock 350hp heads, 69 lt1 intake and l79 cam. same carb i had on it before just shinny. Now I cant get the throttle as crisp as it was. If I Rad the throttle it responds but Seems to return to idle very slow. Old carb was great!! This new one also has a small miss on light driving with next to no throttle at all (like a stubble) but wide open is fine. Spoke with edelbrock and go figure?? " We haven't had this problem before". Any help would be greatly appreciated. Are mettering rod springs to light, float levels off?? Also has edelbrock subbed out their work across the pond?
